Mobile website or installed app?
A mobile website requires no installation and updates on the server. An installed application may offer a dedicated experience but introduces download-source and update questions. If the official Rwanda website does not clearly link an application for your device, do not download a similarly named file from an advertisement, message or third-party archive.
Installation checklist
- Begin on the official Rwanda domain.
- Confirm the publisher and requested permissions.
- Keep the operating system and browser current.
- Reject a file that requests unrelated contacts, accessibility or device-administrator access.
- Set a screen lock and hide sensitive notifications.
Data and connection quality
On a limited connection, live animations and repeated refreshes can consume data and increase the chance of submitting an action twice. Wait for a clear confirmation before retrying a deposit or ticket. The account history—not a spinning button—is the better confirmation.
When mobile access fails
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, reopen the official homepage, clear only the site’s cache if necessary and take note of the exact error. Do not hand remote control of the phone to an unverified “technician.”
